It probably has something to do with being in school for so long, surrounded by people born the same year as I was, but always make the mistake of thinking that everyone I'm talking to is my age. While working in Barnes and Noble in Burbank I just assumed everyone else was either 22 or, if they weren't 22, they were in their forties. I can't tell the difference between a 22 and a 29 year old and I was surprised to find out that many of the people I hung out with on a regular basis were noticeably older than myself.

And I just realized that I really have little or no idea how old anyone on my friends list is.
I'm curious. If you're not mortified, tell me.

Poll #218895 I swear to god I won't make jokes at your expense. Or if I do, they'll at least be good jokes.

How old are you, anyway?
