Really sorry I've been posting so much. I stuck this one behind an lj cut since it's not funny at all-- I've just got a lot of job-related stuff on my mind.

My boss took me aside yesterday and asked if I was interested in a full-time position. If she's given an assistant, she said I'm far and away her first choice.
However, one of the other program managers announced yesterday that she's looking for an assistant and several people have come up to me in private and asked if I'm interested. Neither job is written in stone, but everyone here seems to like me a lot.
I love the boss I'm working for now but it's not guaranteed she'll be given an assistant. Should I hold out? Should I say I'm available for the woman who needs an assistant immediately? Should I move back west and become a rodeo clown? Should I take any job that will allow me to move out of my parent's house?

And is this giving in? To take a job at a medical education company? I'd love to be working for a company that has at least SOMETHING to do with comedy or writing or such, but is there really any chance of that happening? I could still do stand-up at night and this during the day...I just don't know.

Ok, sorry.
