So I was reaching across my desk for some more Cheerios and accidentally hit the honey jar and tipped it over and just as my reflexes kicked in and I jumped toward it, the bottle sprung upright again like nothing had ever happened.
I'm guessing it's because the sides were rounded, and the honey was so heavy and slow moving that the weight stayed in the bottom (because it wasn't full) and helped it right itself, sort of like one of those punching bag things with sand in the bottom that springs up after you hit it. (They have these with Bush on them now, too) But with those things, you expect the bag to get back up. This honey bottle caught me TOTALLY by surprise. So after staring at it in shock for a few seconds, I did it again. And again. And again. And then proceeded to go around the office doing it for other people, all of whom were equally amused and who batted it over several times on their own desk until one girl turned the bottle upside down and now the trick won't work anymore.
Nothing turns an office full of grown-ups into a Kindergarten like a cool new toy.
